Wild Horse Picture Jasper

I was worried about this cabochon! I was called from the shop when I started cutting the preform, and didn't get all the saw oil off the slab. And it stained the rock! The GOOD news is that I cut through the stained rock as I was shaping the cab, and all the evidence of the "accident" disappeared. And it looks good, no?

40mm x 30.5mm x 7mm; cab has a flat girdle.   Weight: 59.85 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
