This Verde Antique is a new material (for me) that we found at Tannehill this year. It consists of Serpentine with bands of Calcite throughout. The Calcite is the harder of the two materials, so there is some minor undercutting in the cab. This is one pretty cabochon! The shield cut lends itself to a wide variety of applications.

34mm x 30mm x 6.5mm.   Weight: 49.70 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
