This Verde Antique is a new material (for me) that we found at Tannehill this year. It consists of Serpentine with bands of Calcite throughout. The Calcite is the harder of the two materials, so there is some minor undercutting in the cab. This is one pretty cabochon! The shield cut lends itself to a wide variety of applications. Dimensions: 34mm x 30mm x 6.5mm. Weight: 49.70 carats. |
