I don't know what this stuff is! The slab looked like the inside of a purplish petit four. Kind of soft, but it took a satiny polish. (Note: if you don't know what a petit four is, grab the nearest Fiji's catalog and buy a big box of them...yum!) This one has a large pale band diagonally across it, with a healed fracture that bisects this pretty cabochon. Very nice!

40mm x 24mm x 8.5mm.   Weight: 68.85 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
