I've come across some really cool Lace Agate recently. This little darlin' has delicate white lace, with a red swath leading towards an almost Dryhead-looking pattern at the bottom. The grainy appearing place at the bottom is the remnant of matrix; it's slightly less shiny than the rest of the cabochon. I tweaked it and it looks stable to me, but if it ever chips off I'll refund the purchase price, of course.

23mm x 18.5mm x 6mm.   Weight: 18.20 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
