I've come across some really cool Lace Agate recently. This little darlin' has delicate white lace, with a red swath leading towards an almost Dryhead-looking pattern at the bottom. The grainy appearing place at the bottom is the remnant of matrix; it's slightly less shiny than the rest of the cabochon. I tweaked it and it looks stable to me, but if it ever chips off I'll refund the purchase price, of course. Dimensions: 23mm x 18.5mm x 6mm. Weight: 18.20 carats. |
