A tentative identification of this classroom demo oval. The entire surface appears to be the same hardness, unlike the few examples of Youngite I've seen. Regardless, a pretty cab; the healed fractures at lower left are less evident in person. Dimensions: 40mm x 30mm x 5mm. Weight: 44.25 carats. |
