Willow Creek Jasper Cabochon
Willow Creek Jasper Cabochon

This enormous Willow Creek Jasper cabochon has a free-form cut. The patterns in the stone resemble a mountain crashing into the ground. It's dedicated to the Old Man of the Mountain, formerly in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, near Franconia Notch. Sadly, the Old Man collapsed in May of 2003. And it has to stay in the collection, folks!

Dimensions: 72mm x 47mm x 5.5mm.  Weight: 145.75 carats.

This cabochon is in my personal collection; it is not available for sale.
