I wanted an unusual shape for this piece of Rhodochrosite and was inspired by an afternoon bowling with my grandkids. So if this gorgeous freeform cabochon reminds you of a candlepin bowling pin, there's a good reason! Wavy pinks surrounded by well-polished matrix; I filled two open vugs with epoxy and you can see them as the dark spots at the middle left edge. Dimensions: 61mm x 14.5mm x 6.5mm.
