This pretty Rainforest Jasper cabochon has a few things that make it interesting. It has a rust-colored sealed fracture along the top (northwest/southeast through the clear area at upper right). It also has a curved fold that was in the rock, about a third of the way up from the bottom going through the dark area, and some minor undercutting just below the rust fracture. Dimensions: 40mm x 22mm x 6mm. Weight: 32.25 carats. |
