You got me! This isn't a cabochon... it's a cross-section of a small limb of Petrified Wood, sliced and worked by me. I softened the edge some and gave it a girdle of about 2mm, give-n-take a bit. I rounded the top and polished it, so it has a cabochon-like appearance. Very pretty, even if it isn't a cab... Dimensions: 34mm x 23mm x 6mm. Weight: 30.35 carats. |
