VERY cool looking material resembling a fossilized plant of some sort. But we bought some Onyx from Pakistan at Franklin this year which looks a LOT like this material, so I'm going to call this Onyx. This is not agate-hard and dense, so you can feel the patterns, especially the reddish ones across the middle of the cab. But sturdy regardless. A very unusual and good-looking cabochon! Dimensions: 38.5mm x 29.5mm x 6mm. Weight: 44.95 carats. |
