Ocean Jasper? What? With blue in it? Yeah, sure! I found this pretty material in Quartzsite this year and bought a couple of nice slabs. I cut it in a freeform "windblown" teardrop shape. There is some open druzy at extreme lower left, and the white dot you see there is a tiny orb that decided it wanted no part of me and detached itself from the cab! This big beauty was cut from the same slab as this cab trio. Dimensions: 66mm x 30mm x 6.5mm. Weight: 76.70 carats. |
