I bought this Fluorite rough on a lark; I was curious to see if I could cut cabochons from it. And I did! It was "fun" to cut; I got lots of suds while cutting it, and it cut so quickly that I was surprised at how easily it took a polish! This is a tiny cabochon with a pale blue tinge and lots of big stable inclusions. Dimensions: 19mm x 12mm x 4.5mm. Weight: 9.10 carats. |
