This could be Smelted Quartz, but it was presented to me as Fifties Slag. It has wisps of color in an almost transparent matrix. Lots of tiny air bubbles and tiny impurities.

Dimensions: 39mm x 29mm x 6mm.  Weight: 47.50 carats.
