This is Chrysocolla & Cuprite from Mexico, collected by Benny Fenn. The Cuprite is slightly harder than the surrounding Chrysocolla and takes a higher polish. This one has nice bright red Cuprite! There's a stable fracture up towards upper left. Dimensions: 30mm x 18mm x 7.5mm. Weight: 31.45 carats. |
