This rock was gathered just a few miles from home. It's known locally, along with other rock found in the spillings of coal mines, as "Brookwood Stone." Small shield cut cabochon looks very much like Carnelian. Gloria at Wire Treasures is going to transform this cab into a pendant; we're going to give the pendant to the lady who showed us this find of Brookwood Stone.
