I cried when I cut this cabochon! The entire slab was covered in beautiful patterns, with high contrast and stable rock. Or so I thought. The entire slab was replete with fractures that ran almost parallel to the cut. Disaster ensued, and the slab broke into pieces. What you see here is the ONLY part of a very large slab that was actually stable. And even though I lost a lot of what had promised to be great material, this cabochon is a real beauty!
