Here's a nice freeform-cut Agua Nueva Agate cabochon from Mexico! Bold fortifications down the right side, with layers of translucent agate on the left. What you can't see just to the right of the large light reflection is an area of almost clear agate with golden brown plumes; you have to look closely to see it, but I didn't notice much of this in the slab from which this pretty was cut. Dimensions: 44mm x 23mm x 7mm. Weight: 51.65 carats. |
