I stuck this big beast of a cabochon in a box some time ago and forgot all about it! And it's a beauty, even though I don't know what the material is. The red parts look like Red Jasper, the overall appearance reminds me of the clouds on the planet Jupiter. I dub thee, Jupiterite! Only kidding; this is one good-looking cabochon!

50mm x 26mm x 5.5mm .   Weight: 54.55 carats.
