Here's a very clear sample of Tourmalated Quartz! Fine strands of Tourmaline in an almost perfect chunk of Quartz. There is the start of a fracture just to the right of the peak; you can see it clearly (along with some tiny inclusions) in the additional photo. A real quality cab! 18mm x 25mm x 7mm. Weight: 22.85 carats. Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned.
