I like this cabochon, then I don't, then I like it again... It started out as a big oval, but there was some white matrix(?) that was chalky and soft, so I re-shaped it into a teardrop. The huge white spot at the top is mostly light reflection, and the soft spots in the cabochon have all been removed. All in all, a slightly different look. But pretty nonetheless.

35mm x 24.5mm x 6.5mm .   Weight: 39.50 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
