This is new material for me this year, and I have enough for several cabochons. This particular chunk doesn't have a lot of "flash" to it, and the various qualities of its different parts convinced me to just smooth the corners and give it a very shallow dome; this gives it a rough but appealing personality (kinda like me!).

31mm x 22mm x 6mm.   Weight: 27.05 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
