Here's a little Rutilated Quartz cabochon that's a bit larger than a fingernail. Large and small Rutile bundles throughout, with a sorta cross-shaped feature at upper left (best visible straight on). Has inclusions and a fracture at bottom that is almost parallel with the back of the cab. All in all, a very nice example.

26mm x 13.5mm x 6.5mm.   Weight: 18.20 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
