Ocean Jasper Cabochon

I'm not cutting much Ocean Jasper any more (I'm hoarding it, so shoot me), but I did cut a couple recently. This one is freeform cut and has distinct orbs at the surface and hazy ones inside due to the cloudiness of the matrix. Light does shine through at the top, but it's pretty much hidden by the photo lights. This and its cousin are both nice little cabs.

28mm x 16mm x 3mm.   Weight: 10.30 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
