Here's a large Noreena Jasper cabochon with an elongated cut. This particular pattern in the slab was long and narrow, so I mimicked it for the cabochon's shape. It came out very nice! The vertical light line through the center of the cab looks like an old weakness, or perhaps it was trying to become a red line. It doesn't look like a fracture, but it is easily visible.

53mm x 20mm x 5mm.   Weight: 47.85 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
