Every once in a while I like to cut an oval to keep my eyes calibrated! Here's a "nominal" 30x40 oval of Mookaite with a big dark slash through the middle that looks like a meteorite crashing into the snow.

39mm x 30mm x 4mm.   Weight: 34.65 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
