Mahogany Obsidian with sheen! This is a custom cut cabochon. It has a wave of Mahogany down the right side and across the bottom. The sheen is predominant on the back (doggone it!), but there's a small area at mid-lower left, difficult to see in the photo. The specks are not dust, but are part of the rock.

Cabochon has a round girdle. 40mm x 26mm x 8mm as oriented.   Weight: 52.50 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
