This is an ineresting new (for me) material: Minnesota Silk from... guess where? Meandering bands of red, yellow, brown & black, with what look like streaks of Hematite as well. An itty bitty cabochon.

21mm x 18mm x 6mm.   Weight: 16.60 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
