This little Lapis oval is actually a doublet. The Lapis itself is 2-3mm thick, and the cover is a lab-created optical quality quartz. There is a streak of calcite along the upper left side and a faint echo to the right which may be traces of calcite on the surface of the Lapis. It's a very nice piece!
