As I was cutting this freeform teardrop Lapis cabochon, An area of Calcite popped up across its lower quarter. Tiny specks of Pyrite flash faintly along the right side. Overall, a pleasing looking cabochon!

23.5mm x 11.5mm x 4.5mm.   Weight: 9.75 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
