This fat little Lace Agate cabochon grew on me while I was cutting it. My first impression was, too much matrix; then, not enough color. But the matrix took a polish, and the brightly contrasting areas stood out more and more. A real sweetie! 31.5mm x 21mm x 9mm. Weight: 44.60 carats. Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned.
