Lace Agate Cabochon

I like big cabs and I cannot lie! I cut this Lace Agate cabochon in a freeform long-egg cut to see if the matrix on the left would hold together, and it did, nicely. The left and right sides of this cab have very different appearances, separated by a line of "lace." There are vugs in the dark matrix at the bottom of the cabochon, but I think they add character. This cab was cut from the same slab as this one.

P.S. Gloria at Wire Treasures said she can see a girl's face in the middle of the cab. Can you see it?

57mm x 27mm x 7mm.   Weight: 85.75 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
