This big cabochon is Mexican Imperial Jasper from Durango, Mexico. This is really pretty stuff, with soft green colors leading to the bold dark inclusions at the bottom. There is a tiny vug towards the upper left (it looks like a little pale spot in the photo).

Rounded girdle; 42mm x 27mm x 6mm.   Weight: 56.10 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
