Here's a nifty Fordite cabochon cut from material accumulated around a pipe. You are looking at the cab from the "inside" looking away from the pipe. A very nice example of this pretty material. It was cut from the same chunk as this cabochon.

22mm x 14.5mm x 6.5mm.   Weight: 10.40 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
