This small Fordite teardrop cut cabochon has lots of what look like layers of metallic paint. It's a very colorful specimen! You can see the area at lower left which was the top of the layers; in this area is a pattern that looks like a caveman with a spear. Or a tennis racket, which is funny only if you've seen the recent auto insurance commercial which DIDN'T have the gecko in it.

33mm x 21mm x 4mm.   Weight: 13.15 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
