Straight from the Confederate iron forges of the US Civil War, this cabochon was cut from a piece of Confederate Slag. This specimen had some air bubbles in it. I did not fill the air bubbles as I didn't want to spoil this little blue piece of American history (excuse me, Confederate history).

33mm x 25mm x 8.5mm.   Weight: 51.20 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
