You could call this a Rescue cabochon, since I "rescued" it from a class display, but it's been finished for a couple of years so it really doesn't qualify (it was never neglected). You can appreciate this cab as one that inspired many lapidaries-in-training to work their best!

39mm x 39.5mm x 8mm.   Weight: 67.20 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
