This piece of Brookwood Stone fooled me! I thought it would be a flecked/quartz-y piece like this cabochon, but it turned out to be soft and uniformly colored, with a "look" that I haven't seen in this neat local rock before.

33mm x 21.5mm x 7.5mm.   Weight: 37.15 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
