This rock was gathered just a few miles from home. It's known locally, along with other river rock, as "Brookwood Stone." Can you tell it was cut from the same slab as this one? Soft red throughout; the white lines are reflections from the camera.

30mm x 22mm x 7mm.   Weight: 36.40 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
