Agate Cabochon

This big oval-cut cabochon is some kind of Agate, I think, but I can't identify it. It came out pretty nice, with red and gold patterns, and it has a good polish as well. If you turn this one on its side, you can see a Meerkat wearing night vision goggles. OK, so you can't... I can!

40mm x 30mm x 5mm.   Weight: 49.85 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
