I'm really tempted to keep this one! Given to me by a rock club friend, this chunk of "something" looked like an orange Jolly Rancher candy! It's fairly soft, was messy to cut, but it's translucent, has lots of what looks like chatoyance when turned from left to right. It is domed from side to side, but the top & bottom ends are instead beveled. A very interesting piece of... something! Dimensions: 33.5mm x 22mm x 7.5mm. Weight: 53.95 carats. |
