This little Lapis oval is actually a doublet. The Lapis itself is 2-3mm thick, and the cover is a lab-created optical quality quartz. There is a streak of calcite along the upper left side and a faint echo to the right which may be traces of calcite on the surface of the Lapis. It's a very nice piece! Dimensions: 25.5mm x 16mm x 7mm. Weight: 22.30 carats. |
