Brookwood Stone

I am so embarrassed. We stole this rock from someone's driveway with the intention of cutting it and giving it back as a surprise. But it came out so nice, so pretty, with an almost transparent Quartz-y body, Carnelian-like coloring, and chatoyant inclusions! So we're going to keep it... I am SO embarrassed! I have other rocks from the driveway and PROMISE that I will cut more and give the cabs back to the driveway-owner... honest!

32mm x 17mm x 6.5mm; cab has a flat girdle.  Weight: 26.15 carats.
