Rescue Cabochon

This may be Petrified Wood but I'm not sure. This was retrieved from a box of castoff, uncompleted cabochons forgotten by some other lapidary. It's been re-shaped into an oval and looks great because it's been RESCUED.

27mm x 21mm x 3mm.   Weight: 14.05 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
