Rescue Cabochon

This little chunk of Blue Lace Agate was thrown away by another lapidary who didn't like the vug in it (you can see the vug in the center about one-third down from the top near the "break" in the dark blue area). I cut down into it and made it a lot smaller, but it's still there. This cab is a more pale blue than it appears (very difficult to photograph this stuff).

29.5mm x 22mm x 4.5mm.  Weight: 21.90 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
