All the new oval cabochons on the site were done as demonstrations in my recent cabochons classes at William Holland. This cabochon has patterns that look like a forest fire on a hillside. The "sky" area appears in the photo to be the same color as the "hillside" area; the tiny "trees" in the lower area are faded out by the lighting. There are no fractures in this cab. Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
