Montana Agate Cabochon

Pretty close to being spectacular (oh heck, it's spectacular!), this big Montana Agate cabochon is cut in a long landscape oval to show off some cool patterns! The almost clear matrix has two "ripples" that appear as though the cabochon was folded twice and opened again (see the folds?). The tiny "trees" along the crest of the landscape are far enough front-to-back to appear to move independently when the cabochon is turned. Neat! There is a gouge in the lower right edge that is not visible from the front.

50mm x 25.5mm x 5mm.   Weight: 54.25 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
